Hon Nghe Island – The raw gem in Ha Tien bay, with peaceful space, long white sand & pristine rocky beaches, clear blue water and the fish cages on Hon Nghe sea. Tourists are attracted by a few things about Hon Nghe, this reason they come to the island. Up to now, to come to Hon Nghe, tourists have to go to Ha Tien, then continue to move to Ba Hon pier to buy a ticket to catch the ship to Hon Nghe island, this is a huge obstacle in terms of time in travel from the mainland to the island and vice versa for residents and tourists. Therefore, the opening of the first fast ferry from Rach Gia to Hon Nghe not only shortens the travel distance between the mainland and islands but also contributes to tourism development, trade between the mainland and island more favorable.
According to information from Superdong, the fast ferry Rach Gia <=> Hon Nghe will operate with a frequency of 2 route/day, specifically: depart from Rach Gia at 08.10 and return from Hon Nghe at 15.35 daily. The total duration is 90 minutes/route. Ticket prices are applied by the company on each turn as follows: tickets for adults 210,000 VND, tickets for the elderly 175,000 VND, tickets for people with disabilities 155,000 VND and tickets for children 150,000 VND.
