The company was established and put into operation on 14/11/2007 with the name Superdong Fast Ferry – Kiên Giang Limited Company and the initial registered charter capital is  VND 9,6 billion . The main activities of the company are to transport passengers and goods at the seaside, transport passengers and goods by inland waterways.

On 22/01/2010, the company was transformed into a joint stock company with a full name of Superdong Fast Ferry Kiên Giang Joint Stock Company according to the investment certificate issued for the first time on 14/11/2007 changed for the third time on 22/01/2010 by Phu Quoc island Development investment Management. Registered charter capital is VND 90 billion.

From 20/12/2012, the company is eligible to become a Public Company with the number of shareholders of 311 people with charter capital of VND 174,748,540,000. As 24/6/2013, the Company has completed the registration file for a Public Company and has been officially approved by the State Securities Commission.

The General Meeting of Shareholders has approved the listing of securities at the Stock Exchange. It is expected that in the second quarter of 2014, the Company will complete the procedures to put the Company’s shares officially traded on HOSE.
